Resting Peacefully
In The Lord
January 15, 1974 – November 2, 2025
Mrs Angela Ehizogie Ikhatalor (née Omorogbe), fondly known as Babygirl, was born on January 15, 1974, to Late Chief Dr Edward Enoyoze Omorogbe of Obagie Nevbosa, Ikpoba Okha Local Government, Edo State, Nigeria and Late Mrs Roseline Renate Omogbohu Omorogbe (née Igbinovia) of Ogbe Quarters in Oredo Local Government, Edo State, Nigeria — both of blessed memory. From an early age, she shone as a bright, graceful, and compassionate soul who carried her father’s discipline and her mother’s warmth in perfect balance.
She began her education at Reagan Memorial Baptist Primary School, Onike, Lagos, where her brilliance and leadership quickly became evident. She continued to Akoka High School, Lagos, excelling in her studies and building lifelong friendships. In 1992, she gained admission to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, where she earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics. Her passion for learning later led her to complete a Master’s in Business Administration (Financial Management) at Lagos State University in 2012.
Angela began her professional journey in banking, first at Allstate Trust Bank and later at Zenith Bank, where her dedication and excellence stood out. After moving to London with her family, she transitioned into teaching — a role that reflected her love for people and her gift for inspiring others. She taught mathematics in several East London schools, including Stratford Academy and Forest Academy, earning the admiration and respect of students and colleagues alike.
In April 2000, Angela married her beloved husband and soulmate, Mr. Benjamin Olalekan Ikhatalor. Their union was filled with love, laughter, faith, and mutual respect. Together they built a beautiful home, grounded in God’s word, and were blessed with two wonderful children — Jeffrey Ikhatalor and Jennifer Ikhatalor — who were the pride and joy of her life.
Angela lived a life defined by faith, kindness, and integrity. She was an active member of her church, always ready to serve, encourage, and uplift those around her. Her gentle spirit, radiant smile, and selfless heart brought light and comfort to everyone she met. She believed that true success was found in service to others — and she lived that truth every day.
In the early hours of Sunday, November 2, 2025, Angela peacefully returned to her Maker after a life beautifully lived. Though her passing leaves a deep ache in our hearts, we find peace knowing she rests in the loving arms of the Lord. Her memory will forever remain a blessing — a reminder of her love, grace, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind her beloved husband and their cherished children, along with family and friends who will continue to celebrate her extraordinary life.
Angela’s legacy is one of love, devotion, and strength — a life that touched many and will never be forgotten.
